ABOUT IN SHOWJUMPERS
There are currently 3 companies in the IN Showjumpers group of companies. The initial company, IN Showjumpers Ltd, was incorporated in 2010 by the founders, Henk Nooren, Duncan Inglis and Caroline Wilks. This Company has been trading successfully since June 2010 and going forward it is intended that its main focus will be to provide management services to the other group companies. There are two Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) qualifying Companies, IN Showjumpers 2013 plc and INS Rosehill Enterprises plc.
All the IN Showjumpers group companies have been established to acquire, produce and trade top quality showjumping horses. The two EIS Companies use the proven model established and trialled by the management company, and although the same team manage the assets of both EIS companies it is intended that INS Rosehill Enterprises plc will invest in higher value horses and will potentially hold them for a longer period of time. The Directors believe that showjumping horses can lend themselves well to a investment. The horses provide asset backing for the investment, (it is intended that all the horses owned by the EIS companies will be insured for loss of use, mortality and theft) and they are readily realizable in normal market conditions.
IN Showjumpers utilises the talent and experience of Henk Nooren and Duncan Inglis, two of Europe’s leading professionals in the showjumping industry. Their solid track record within the show jumping industry is complemented with the additional experience of Caroline Wilks who brings financial operations, management and business development experience. These individuals, all of whom have been successful in their own right, create a powerful combination, bringing together extensive business management expertise and strength and depth of knowledge and contacts, in the show jumping industry.
There will normally be a mix of horses of varying ages and development owned by each company, that will have been selected not only for the talent and potential they display to succeed at the highest level, but also they will be viewed by Henk and Duncan to have considerable upside potential in capital value. The management, training and competition plan for these horses from the time they are purchased will be focused on optimising their sale value.
Duncan and Henk have a strong track record of stock selection, management and utilizing some of the best jockeys to take the horses to the next level in terms of performance and value. Given their established international network of professional contacts there is also a consistent demand and market for horses which they have produced. Their record of identifying and producing horses which have gone on to represent Nations at World Championship and Olympic level lays testament to their expertise. This record of success has laid the foundations of a focused and profitable business where all parties can benefit, from the seller, the investor to the end purchaser.
