Temple Equine Livery & Training provides the best care for you & your equine partner! We are a small & friendly yard with ten boxes and a small floodlit indoor school. The paddocks are securely fenced and topped with electric rope. The yard provides a washroom and a washing machine. Off-road hacking is available directly from the yard, and the area provides ample bridleways with causeways & hills for good canter work. Gallops and a cross-country course are available for hire, and there is also a 60 x 30 wax track arena available for hire at nearby Angerton Stead, just a 20 minute hack away. The area is well served by excellent veterinary and equine dental specialists, as well as everything from farrier work to massage or magnetic therapy. We are just a short drive away from local venues such as Angerton Stead, Todburn Equestrian Centre, Parkend Equestrian Centre and the Burgham Horse Trials, making us an ideal location for those who wish to compete. The Morpeth hunt is based from the Estate and regular meets are held within hacking distance of the yard. Livery Services We offer a full livery service as well as holiday & grass livery. We specialise in behavior therapy, confidence building, and improving the relationship between you and your horse. We also provide training, re-schooling, breaking/ behavior/ recovery therapy and competition/hunt livery. Catering for everything from simple behavioral problems to training point to point horses. By developing fitness and individual feeding regimes we are able to improve and work your horse to be in the best possible condition, ready for the hunting or eventing season ahead. Hunt Livery We provide hunt livery services through out the year with ample old pasture grazing for the summer and stabling on our full livery yard. Our hunt livery includes plaiting and clipping and you can expect to have your hunter kept in tip top condition with excellent quality feed and varied work regime. great attention is paid to the aftercare of your hunter to keep him fir and sound throughout the season. Breaking Livery We work consistently and calmly with young horses and are building a reputation for backing and starting unbroken horses in a way that is a positive and educational experience for your horse. Our methods help to build trust, boundaries and confidence and encourage young horses to enjoy and find their early ridden experience's fun. With 25 years experience working with young horses across the UK and europe Rowena has developed her own system using a combination of traditional and modern horsemanship. Our young horses gain a wealth of experience on mixed terrain learning to cope with water, gates, traffic and can be produced to which ever stage you as their owner wish. Owners are welcome to be as involved as they wish and are able to visit and watch at any stage of our work.
