Working Livery
If you're looking for a good, supervised home for your horse with regular, low risk exercise a working livery might be the answer. Horses on working livery are completely looked after by the staff at the equestrian centre on a full livery basis. They are used in lessons under tuition of one of our expert instructors to maintain their schooling and fitness. In exchange there is a reduction in the cost of keeping them on livery. This reduction is negotiable depending on how many days they will be used by the Riding School. This type of livery is used by many busy people who enjoy having a horse of their own, without having to be tied to coming to the yard everyday. Before a horse or pony is accepted on Working Livery there is a requirement for an assessment period, this is usually one week. There is a charge of £75 for horses (14.2hh and over) or £60 for a pony (under 14.2hh) during the assessment period. This is essential to ensure that the horse/pony is suitable for Working Livery. All horses and ponies on Working Livery are subject to regular reviews to ensure that they are compatible with Working Livery. If a horse/pony becomes unsuitable then a meeting will be arranged to discuss the available options.
