A family run business founded in 1970
Situated in beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, not only is Snainton Riding Centre in idyllic surroundings but it also offers a wealth of services for beginner to advanced riders alike.
We provide great facilities, well educated horses and highly qualified staff. All part of our commitment to providing a professional horse riding experience!
Established over 45 years ago by Alec and Elaine Lyall, the centre continues to grow and cater for all riding needs, with a qualified pedigree of instructors, passing on the benefit of many years’ experience.
Alec Lyall is a British Horse Society Instructor. Alec’s daughter Charlotte Wilson is a British Horse Society Instructor, a UKCC Level 3 Generic Coach, British Dressage Accredited Coach, UKCC Level 3, BYRDS Regional Coach, a British Dressage List 4 Judge and has a BA (Hons.) in Equine Studies.
The Centre is British Horse Society and Association of British Riding Schools Approved. We are also an Approved British Dressage Competition Centre and hold Club Mark Accreditation. Qualified friendly instructors are available for a wide range of lessons.
